Amir, Canadian PM review efforts to combat COVID-19

The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau on Wednesday. During the phone call, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and the prospects for strengthening and developing them, in addition to discussing efforts related to combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In this regard, the Canadian PM expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Amir for the role of Qatar Airways in bringing back Canadian nationals from various parts of the world to Canada during this crisis.
The call also discussed regional and international developments, particularly security and stability in the region. (QNA)
