Shoppers across Qatar can now benefit from a new set of services offered by the Mall of Qatar (MoQ), that makes shopping experience easier, safer and more flexible. Over 70 stores have launched the ‘Stay Safe & Shop from Home’ service at the mall, enabling consumers to shop for their favourite brands and products from the comfort of their own homes.
The service is the ideal alternative for personal shopping, which has been temporarily stopped as a precautionary measure to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 due to the mandatory closure of shops at the mall imposed by Qatari authorities. The Mall of Qatar remains committed to complying with the instructions given by the Qatari authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of the people and to support initiatives that best meet their expectations.
Khaled Sam Hosn, CEO of MoQ, said: “In light of the current situation and the preventative and precautionary measures that the state is undertaking to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we at Mall of Qatar, consider the safety of shoppers our top priority and are pleased to support our tenants with ‘Stay Safe & Shop from Home’ initiative, which is a good solution to keep business going and meet the demands of customers in this current situation.”
The service is delivered directly by the Mall of Qatar tenants, and customers can now order their products via different platforms. Any outlets providing the ‘Stay Healthy & Shop from Home’ service can be accessed on the website of Mall of Qatar, accessible via the link www.mallofqatar.com.qa/shop from Home Participating retailers and deals will be posted regularly on the website of the mall as more stores enter this service.
