The Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented in the General Directorate of Traffic, and Ashghal discussed preparations for launching a smart app related to traffic diversions.
The move comes as part of the ministry’s digitalisation efforts.
Head of Traffic Planning Section at the Roads Engineering Department Captain Mohammed Misfer al Hajri said the app would archive all traffic diversions that took place in the state, and allow officials to access the diversions as it would include high-quality maps. (QNA)
