The Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented by the General Directorate of Information Systems, has launched the website of the Strategic Security Studies magazine, a scientific journal published by the ministry’s Centre for Strategic Security Studies.
In a statement, Director of the centre Colonel Mohamed Rabia al Kuwari said the magazine’s new website is part of the ministry’s plan for digital transformation, a plan implemented under the slogan ‘Ministry without papers,’ where the magazine will be available online to researchers and interested parties inside and outside the country.
He pointed out that the website includes an archive of the previous issues of the magazine, a special link for reference studies and scientific research in the strategic security field, and a separate link for scientific articles specialising in this field at local, regional and international level, as well as a section on the Ministry of Interior Security Research Prize that the ministry conducts annually with the aim of encouraging scientific research in the security field.
The website also includes books and recent publications in the field of strategic security, in addition to the publication of press reports on the most important scientific conferences and events concerned in this regard that took place in the country or abroad, in addition to links to a number of websites or research centres in the
country.
