Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, on Thursday chaired the third meeting of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management on combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to follow up the progress of the work of the national executive plan to combat this virus and related developments.
The meeting reviewed the progress made in addressing COVID-19 and protecting society from its effects through preventive and precautionary measures, in addition to discussing topics on the meeting’s agenda in health, education and economy sectors. The meeting praised the efforts of various sectors and the togetherness to overcome this crisis. The meeting, held at the National Leadership Headquarters, was attended by members of the committee, including ministers, heads of bodies, and senior officials in the state. (QNA)
