Sixteen more citizens were arrested on Sunday for violating the home-quarantine pledge they undertook as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavius (COVID-19).
Qatar has approved home isolation as a second option for families returning to the country from abroad, provided they
sign a pledge to remain under self-quarantine for a prescribed period.
The violators are:
1. Abdul Nasser Ahmed Ahmed al Shaiba
2. Rashid Hadi Rashid al Sable al Marri
3. Abdullah Hayel Nazel Rashid al Anzi
4. Abdullah Hussein Ali al Ateeq al Marri
5. Abdullah Mohammed Salem al Bahah al Marri
6. Abdullah Ali Bakhit Ali al Athbi
7. Abdullah Jaber Ali Rashid Alyan
8. Saif Hamad Saif Ali al Azba
9. Bandar Saif Ali Saif al Marri
10. Hamad Jaber Hamad Muhammad al Zukiba
11. Nasser Abdullah Salem al Hutil al Marri
12. Sultan Muhammad Bakhit al
Athba al Marri
13. Faisal Muhammad Bakhit al Athba al Marri
14. Ali Rashid Ali Rashid Afifa
15. Abdullah Mashey Shabib Hussain al Dossary
16. Muhammad Jaber Muhammad al Zabadani al Marri
The relevant authorities called on citizens and residents of the domestic quarantine to strictly
adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
The statement of the Ministry of Public Health confirmed that everyone who violates these conditions would expose himself to the penalties stipulated in accordance with the provisions of Article (253) of the Penal Code No (11) of 2004, and the provisions of Law No (17) of 1990 regarding the prevention of infectious diseases, and Law No (17) (2002) on protecting society.
