Assistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid al Khater met Ambassador of Bangladesh HE Ashud Ahmed in Doha on Sunday.
Khater, who is also the Spokesperson of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, conveyed Qatar’s condolences to the government and people of Bangladesh on the death of Bangladeshi citizen who passed away from coronavirus. The meeting reviewed the latest developments of coronavirus in Qatar and the world. Khater affirmed that Qatar is keen on providing high quality healthcare to all its residents. For his part, the ambassador thanked Qatar for the measures it had taken to preserve the safety of all, affirming the appreciation of the Bangladeshi community in the country. (QNA)
