Qatar is taking the necessary measures to control the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect the community, Minister of Public Health HE Dr Hanan Mohammed al Kuwari has said.
This came as Qatar, represented by the Minister of Public Health (MoPH), participated in the general panel discussions held by the World Health Organization (WHO) on the developments of the coronavirus through remote communication technology.
The panel discussions reviewed the countries’ plans and the precautionary and preventive measures against the COVID-19) in addition to the repercussions of the virus outbreak around the world, and the experiences of a number of countries in this regard.
Kuwari commended the important role played by the World Health Organization at the global level in the fight against coronavirus.
