Qatar Navigation Company (Milaha) will be the “Golden Sponsor” for the upcoming Made in Qatar 2020 exhibition to be held in Kuwait.
The agreement was signed by Qatar Chamber’s Director General Saleh bin Hamad al Sharqi and Milaha’s President and CEO Abdulrahman Essa al Mannai.
The expo, which will kick off on Wednesday, is being organised by the Qatar Chamber in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Qatar Development Bank and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The expo will be held at the Kuwait International Fair ground over an area of 10,000 sqm.
The four-day expo will see the participation of more than 220 Qatari manufacturing companies.
Milaha’s Mannai said the company’s sponsorship of the exhibition emphasized the strong strategic relationship it has with Qatar Chamber. This relationship helps both the partners to cooperate in supporting the national economy, he added
“It also helps both the parties join hands in developing national industries and developing SMEs, as well as achieving the economic diversification and aspirations of the Qatar National Vision2030.”
QC’s Sharqi praised Milaha’s continued support to the Qatar industry and the Company’s vital role it plays in the national economy.
He said that holding the exhibition for the third time outside Qatar this year attests to the great advances made by Qatar industries.

Milaha now owns and operates more than 80 vessels, ranging from container ships, marine offshore support vessels, gas carriers, and petrochemical product tankers.
Additionally, Milaha is one of two major stakeholders in QTerminals, the operator of the first phase of Hamad Port, Qatar’s gateway to international trade.
