Tehran: Iran said on Tuesday that US President Donald Trump’s Israeli-Palestinian peace plan was the “treason of the century” and bound to fail.
“The shameful peace plan imposed by America on the Palestinians is the treason of the century and doomed to fail”, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
The Iran-backed Lebanese Hezbollah movement and Yemen’s Houthi rebels both slam Trump’s Middle East plan and vow to fight against it. Hezbollah vows to continue its resistance against Israel. (afp/DPA)
