Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has rejected the long-awaited Middle East plan unveiled by US President Donald Trump, saying it will be sent to “the trash bin of history.” “Our position has not changed,” Abbas says at an emergency meeting for the Palestinian leadership, including representatives of the Islamic Hamas movement and Islamic Jihad, that was held in Ramallah.
“After we heard all this trash, we say ‘no’ again to the ‘deal of the century,’” says the Palestinian leader.
