THE College of the North Atlantic-Qatar (CNA-Q) has welcomed another group of new students to its Winter Semester.
The students are enrolled in three schools – Business Management and Information Technology, Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades, and Health Sciences – as the college continues in its 18th academic year.
“I welcome all new and returning students,” said Associate Vice-President Student Affairs Eng Aljazzi Fetais. “This college has built a strong reputation for being a top quality education institute with state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology. I am looking forward to a great semester, and offer our students all the support they need to have a successful term.”
New students were welcomed to CNA-Q with a comprehensive orientation facilitated by the Student Affairs department. Students toured through the advanced laboratory and simulation facilities that the campus boasts, and were able to meet highly skilled faculty members who will be leading them through their studies.
Students have the opportunity to join clubs as diverse as Debate Club and Photography Club, as well as a wide variety of sports teams. There are also a series of events and activities, and health and wellness sessions, planned for the coming weeks to ensure students are comfortable on the campus and knowledgeable about how to succeed academically and personally.
Since its inception in 2002, CNA-Q has grown to offer 30 diploma and certificate programmes, graduating thousands of students from full-time programmes who have populated the workforce in Qatar or pursued further education.
