The Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani offered condolences to HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur of the Sultanate of Oman on the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur at Al Alam Palace in Muscat on Tuesday. The Deputy Amir also offered condolences to members of the royal family, senior officials and dignitaries, praying to the Almighty Allah to have mercy on the soul of Sultan Qaboos and to rest it in paradise, and to grant patience and solace to his family. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani also offered condolences to HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur of Oman and to the members of the royal family.
