The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) will host the 6th general assembly of the Global Public Diplomatic Network, which is chaired by Qatar represented by Katara, from 20 to 22 January.
The meeting is expected to witness wide global participation. In 2017, Qatar became a member of the Global Public Diplomacy Network and received its presidency from Turkey on May 4, 2019 in Istanbul.
The group was founded by public and cultural institutions of nine countries – the Philippines, Sweden, South Korea, Taiwan, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Singapore and Turkey- in Seoul, South Korea, in 2014.
