Social Security statements reached QR88 million in November 2019 for 15,689 beneficiaries, according to the Planning and Statistics Authority’s 71st issue of the Monthly Statistics bulletin.
The most prominent change in the latest issue is the rise in total deposits and credit facilities in
November.
When compared with those in October 2019, last month’s total deposits rose 0.6 percent, while credit facilities went up 2.3 percent. Year-on-year, deposits increased 4.6 percent and credit went up 9.1 percent.
November also saw 673 building permits being issued, showing a month-on-month decrease of 29.5 percent.
The total number of registered new vehicles in November reached 5,690. The figure represented a monthly decrease of 13.2 percent and an annual increase of 3.5 percent.
For the banking sector, November recorded QR563.4 billion in total broad money supply (M2), showing an annual decrease of 0.2 percent. On the other hand, cash equivalents, including Commercial Bank deposits, reached QR830.5 billion, showing an annual increase of 4.6 percent.
