1,068 tonnes of vegetables sold at agri yards in Dec

The local agriculture product sales yards at Al Mazrouah, Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Al Sheehaniya and Al Shamal have seen records sales of vegetables and fruits in December. A total of 1,068 tonnes of vegetables, 701 tonnes of fruits, 14 tonnes of fish, and 2691 cartons of eggs were sold at the agriculture yards this month. Similarly, 7,110 poultry and 584 kgs of natural honey were sold. (TNN)
