MEXICO’s Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights Martha Delgado has praised the role of Qatar in resolving regional and international conflicts through mediation.
Delgado noted that her country pursues the same principles and values, especially non-interference in the affairs of other countries, respect for the sovereignty of states and working on fruitful cooperation between all.
In an interview with Al-Sharq, Delgado underlined that Mexico is keen on strengthening its relations with Qatar in different fields, noting that there are huge investment opportunities for Qatari investors in infrastructure, agriculture, tourism and other sectors of Mexico.
Delgado added that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached $83.7 million last year, stressing that these numbers will increase in the near future.
On its participation in Doha Forum 2019, Delgado said that Qatar moderated discussions on key international issues during the Doha Forum.
