QSE gains 86 points this week; market capitalisation up 1%QNA

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) gained 86.00 points (+0.83 percent) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 10,426.37 points.
Trading value during this week increased by 2.56 percent to reach QR 871.723 million compared to QR 849.943 million.
Trading volume increased by 33.10 percent to reach 302.389 million shares as against 227.191 million shares, while the number of transactions rose by 24.79 percent to reach 25,490 transactions as compared to 20,426 transactions.
Market capitalisation rose by 1.04 percent to reach QR581.811 billion as compared to QR575.830 billion at the end of previous week.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 51.66 percent of the total traded value. Industries sector accounted for 14.78 percent. Consumer goods and services sector accounted for 12.72 percent and real estate sector accounted 6.97 percent.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week with 39.53 percent of the total traded volume. Industries sector accounted for 19.64 percent. Consumer goods and services sector accounted 15.89 percent and real estate sector accounted 13.69 percent.
Banking and financial services sector led traded number of transactions this week with 37.81 percent of the total number of transactions. Consumer goods and services sector accounted 21.51 percent. Industries sector accounted for 20.83 percent and Telecom sector accounted for 6.91 percent.
From the 47 listed companies 26 ended this week higher, while 13 fell and eight remained unchanged.
QNB led trading value during this week accounted for 17.62 percent of the total traded value. Masraf Al Rayan accounted for 8.69 and Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) accounted 6.86 percent.
