THE Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has warned residents and citizens of Qatar against buying pharmaceutical products related to fat-burning online or from social media outlets.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said buying pharmaceutical products online is illegal in Qatar and it can also pose serious threat to health.
The statement added that the ministry is working with all State institutions concerned to track those who market the products online and take appropriate legal action against them.
The ministry called on citizens and residents to ensure that the products they purchase online are registered and approved by Qatar.
The ministry stressed its commitment to the health of citizens and residents, noting that it will take all the necessary measures to prevent trading of banned products.
