The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Almana Motors Company, the dealers of Ford in Qatar, has announced the recall of Ford F250 and F350 pickups 2017 to 2019 models.
According to the ministry, the vehicles are being recalled due to potential excessive sparks being generated in the seat belt pretensioner, which may increase the risk of a fire in case of an accident.
The ministry, in cooperation with Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co, dealer of Toyota in Qatar, has also recalled Toyota Forklifts 8FD40N, 8FD50N and 8FD70N models from 2014 to 2017 due to a possible crack in the welding part of the fuel tank and hydraulic oil tank in the side frame.
The ministry said it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and would communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
The ministry has urged all customers to report any violation to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions through Call center: 16001, email: [email protected], Twitter: @MOCIQATAR, Instagram: MOCIQATAR and mobile app for android and IOS: MOCIQATAR.
