London: Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a final call to British voters on Wednesday to help him “get Brexit done” by voting for his party in a snap election.
Speaking to reporters at a milk depot in northern England, Johnson said the Conservatives are “fighting for every vote” after a major opinion poll late on Tuesday suggested their lead has narrowed over the main opposition Labour party.
“This could not be more critical, it could not be tighter,” Johnson said ahead of Thursday’s vote. “I just say to everybody, the risk is very real that we could tomorrow be going into another hung parliament,” he said. (DPA)
