Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and Silatech, recently held a series of workshops at the third edition of the Foundation Program.
The programme aims to introduce participants to the basic concept of entrepreneurship and spread the culture among this segment of society, Bedaya said in a statement on Tuesday.
The main objective of the Foundation Program is to help entrepreneurs work towards developing their ideas and transforming them into business projects and ensure their success and continuity.
During these workshops which were conducted over a period of four days, the center’s entrepreneurship consultants addressed the procedures for establishing business ventures, how to prepare a feasibility study and business models, best ways to market projects through social media tools as well as accounting and financial reporting for startups.
On this occasion, Ahmad al Saygh, Entrepreneurship Manager at Bedaya Center, said, “We are convinced that several workshops at the Foundation Program has succeeded in providing the necessary tools and guidance to our promising entrepreneurs in achieving their goals.
“The aim of these workshops was to help entrepreneurs get their ideas and ventures to the next level through structured learning. We will continue with our efforts to explore more opportunities to address the challenges of imparting professional skills necessary for entrepreneurship development.”
