Doha Bank (DB), one of the largest private commercial banks in Qatar, has announced the lucky winners of the 8th Al Dana Savings Scheme raffle draws held on October 24, 2019 at Doha Bank Tower.
F al Shamari grabbed the biggest prize of the monthly draws, QR50,000, while 30 other customers took home a total of QR160,000 in cash prizes, Doha Bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
M Goel emerged as the winner of the Al Dana Savings Plan draw to walk away with QR10,000. Meanwhile, M al Abdulghani won the Al Dana Family Savings Account draw, making him eligible for a free relaxing staycation with family at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara.
Braik al Marri , Chief Retail Banking Officer at Doha Bank, said, “It has increasingly become important for everyone to develop a habit of saving to not only have a safety net in case of an emergency but also become financially secure to meet future goals and aspirations.
“With our wide-ranging Al Dana Savings Scheme products, at Doha Bank, we have been incentivising our customers to embrace the savings culture through the provision of attractive rewards for their money saved for a rainy day. We remain committed to exploring new ways to make saving even more rewarding.”
Doha Bank’s Al Dana Saving Scheme 2019 includes Al Dana Savings Account, Al Dana Young Savers Account, Al Dana Savings Plan, and Al Dana Family Savings Account and Current Account.
Customers holding a minimum balance of QR5,000 in any of these accounts will be automatically entered into monthly and quarterly draws as well as a year-end draw, which has a grand prize of QR1 million, with each QR1,000 giving them a chance to win.
Meanwhile, an additional deposit of QR5,000 and above on top of previous month’s average balance will enable account holders to enjoy double loyalty chances in the draw for every QR1,000 incremental balance, whereas customers can benefit from triple loyalty chances for every QR1,000 incremental balance with an additional deposit of QR10,000 and above on top of the previous month’s average balance.
New customers of Al Dana Savings Scheme 2019 stand even more chances to win raffle draws, with Doha Bank rewarding them with 100 bonus chances against a minimum deposit of QR 20,000.
