Qatar’s M2 hits QR559 bn in Oct

Qatar’s total broad money supply (M2) reached QR559 billion in October 2019, an annual decrease of 2.1% compared with October 2018, according to the Planning and Statistics Authority’s monthly bulletin. On the other hand, cash equivalents, including commercial bank deposits, reached QR825.3 billion. The figure has recorded an annual increase of 2.4% compared to October 2018, when deposits recorded approximately QR806 billion. (TNN)
