THE International School of London (ISL) Qatar recently hosted its sixth annual Winter Carnival at the school’s campus. It was an enjoyable afternoon at the school, filled with musical performances, arts and crafts, activities for children and adults, and a range of delicious savours.
The crowd was particularly pleased with performances by ISL Qatar’s talented choir and the Magic Show. The carnival also featured a market with over 50 vendors selling arts, crafts and accessories that helped make this ISL Qatar Winter Carnival the most successful to date.
In addition, the Student Council of ISL Qatar arranged multiple visitor events including a FIFA competition, henna, face painting, decoration and games.
Visitors enjoyed delicious food from restaurants across Qatar filling the atrium of the school including Dairy Queen, Bombocrep, Nature’s Treasures, Mama Rozie, Mezza, Bait Jeddi, Deema Community Center and Saima Foods.
There were also many exciting activities at the Winter Carnival from the Museum of Illusions, Adventure Rooms, Geek Express, Maison De Sushi and Ceramique Café.
The proceeds of the Winter Carnival were donated to the charitable actions of ISL Qatar as part of the ISL’s focus on charitable activities.
The event was sponsored by Perfection Multiservice.
“The Winter Carnival is a wonderful event bringing together the community for a good cause to enjoy a great afternoon. Focusing on charitable activities is one of our values and we are trying to inculcate them in our students. We look forward to welcoming our future events to the community, “said school head David Monk.
ISL Qatar has an excellent reputation for high academic performance, prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and an impressive record of admission to the world’s best universities.
