KON Consulting WLL recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the newly launched Nigerian Expat Women’s Forum in Qatar (NEWFOQ), to become a strategic partner of NEWFOQ for organising activities that will have a positive impact on the Nigerian women’s community in Qatar.
The agreement’s main objective is to strengthen relations between Qataris and the expat communities. KON Founder and CEO, Mohamed Riad Massani, and the Founding Chair of NEWFOQ, Noimot Omolara Olayiwola, signed the agreement. As strategic partners, the two parties will cooperate on a number of projects such as empowerment forums, business investment meetings, tourism exhibitions, work place training programmes, business and career consulting services, cultural and community awareness events with themes from Qatar and Nigeria in an effort to bridge the two cultures.
Speaking about the partnership, Mohamed Riad Massani said: “The KON Group is pleased to partner with any legally organized group of expatriate communities in Qatar, especially those from the African continent, to ensure proper integration into the culture of Qatar. We are very pleased with this cooperation, which we believe will create new opportunities for collaboration between our company and NEWFOQ and the Nigerian community as a whole.”
Massani added that KON Consulting WLL is always willing to work with women’s organizations that are always looking for capacity building, empowerment training, volunteering opportunities and business investment opportunities for its members.
“NEWFOQ perfectly meets this description and this is why we are happy to work with them. Being NEWFOQ’s strategic partner, KON Consulting WLL wishes to express its sincere desire to work and cooperate with NEWFOQ in its activities and we are happy to offer all the necessary support in regards to business and consulting required for NEWFOQ to flourish in Qatar.”
Commenting on the agreement, Noimot Olayiwola said: “We are very honoured to have partnered with KON Consulting WLL, a company with a strong interest in the welfare of expatriate communities in Qatar. We look forward to all the exciting projects that we will launch together for the benefit of the NEWFOQ members, which will, in turn, boost the positive image of KON Consulting WLL as an expatriate friendly and supportive local Qatari company.”
