Birla Public School (BPS) organised a science exhibition titled ‘SPECTRUM 2019’, recently to promote scientific approach among students.
BPS Director Maria Pakalomattom inaugurated the event which was attended by Principal AP Sharma along with senior leadership of the school.
Around 300 students from Grade VI to XII made an attractive display of their innovative projects and models based on various themes of science and computer science at the event, under the guidance of their teachers.
The exhibits were evaluated on the bases of originality, scientific thought, communication and presentation.
In her inaugural address, Maria Pakalomattom said, “One should not get disheartened by the obstacles one faces on the path of scientific exploration and continue on the path to succeed eventually.” She applauded the novel ideas of the students and the dedication of teachers.
BPS Principal AP Sharma appreciated the Science department for the smooth conduct of the event and urged the students to grab each opportunity to become a part of the development of the country.
The exhibition aimed at honing the communication and technical skills of the students.
