The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani and Armenian President Armen Sarkissian held official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and the ways of enhancing them to new horizons of cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and food security. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern.
From Qatar side, the meeting was attended by several ministers. Members of the official delegation accompanying the president attended the talks from the Armenian side.
An official reception was held for the President of Armenia upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
Later, the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Armenian president and the delegation accompanying him.
