The trade volume between Qatar and Indonesia has increased by 154 percent in 2018 to reach $877 million as compared to $346 million in 2017, according Ambassador of Indonesia to Qatar HE Muhammad Basri Sidehabi.
Speaking at the opening of the ‘Indonesia Expo 2019: Gateway to Indonesian Products’ in Doha on Sunday, the Indonesian envoy said Qatari exports to Indonesia increased by $728 million last year while Indonesia’s export to Qatar increased to $148 million in 2018.
The first solo exhibition of Indonesian products in Doha featured more than 40 companies from diverse sectors including food, as well as handicrafts, fashion, medical equipment, charcoal, furniture and manpower service, among others.
