Participants in the 13th General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) have praised the level of preparations by Qatar to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held for the first time in the Middle East, stressing that they are confident that the World Cup will be distinguished by all standards.
This came during a tour of the Al Janoub Stadium, which they described as a masterpiece of art and architecture that excels the most prominent stadiums in the world.
HE Chairman of the Audit Bureau, Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud al Thani, headed the delegation which included the majority of heads of delegations and representatives of 15 ARABOSAI countries including besides Qatar, Lebanon, Palestine, Kuwait, Algeria, Yemen, Iraq, Somalia, Tunisia, Libya, Oman, Djibouti, Jordan, Morocco and Sudan.
Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakra is one of the most advanced stadiums in the world, the first stadium built from scratch to host the 2022 World Cup.
