The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary traffic rearrangement on Al Corniche Street between Al Sheraton Intersection and Qatar National Theatre Intersection from Saturday, November 16, for a period of six months.
The traffic change, to be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, seeks to facilitate the construction works on the pedestrian underpass in the area.
During therestriction period, traffic on Al Corniche Street coming from Doha and heading towards Al Dafna between National Library and Sheraton Intersections, as well as traffic coming from Al Dafna and heading towards Doha between National Library and Qatar National Theatre Intersections, will be shifted to parallel lanes.
Ashghal said it will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary traffic shift and requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
