Qatar has condemned the stabbing incident at Jerash in Jordan that left three Mexican tourists, a female Swiss tourist, a police officer and tour guides injured. In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons. The statement affirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the government of Jordan and its support for any measure it takes to maintain security. The statement wished the injured a speedy recovery.
