THE Pakistan International School–Qatar (PISQ) will commence the long-awaited International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) classes from Sunday (October 20).
The classes for IGCSE will be held in a separate, purpose-built block on the school premises, which spans over a large area
and consists of state-of-the art facilities.
A highly-qualified and experienced faculty has been hired from top-ranking institutions of Pakistan for the new stream with an objective to produce the best results.
PISQ is the largest Pakistani community school in Qatar and is affiliated to the Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
Housed in 75,000 sq metres of land in Mesaimeer area, the institution has been providing excellent educational facilities for boys and girls up to intermediate level since its inception more than three decades ago.
To formally mark the commencement of the Cambridge International Stream, the classes begin from Sunday while the registration for admissions has also been opened concurrently for Grades 8 (IG-I) and 9 (IG-II) with limited seats available. An entry test date for admission in the said stream will soon be announced on school website and official school pages on social media, according to an official of the school.
