Srinagar: India has revoked an advisory telling tourists to leave the restive Kashmir region, state authorities said on Tuesday. The decision will go into effect on October 10, Jammu and Kashmir’s information office tweeted. Authorities issued the advisory after India revoked the mostly Muslim Himalayan region’s special autonomous status on August 5. (dpa)
