Football governing body FIFA, two of its confederations and leading European leagues say allegations of television piracy by the broadcaster beoutQ are founded.
A report commissioned by the football bodies “confirms without question that beoutQ’s pirate broadcasts have been transmitted using satellite infrastructure owned and operated by Arabsat,” a statement said Monday.
The joint statement is from FIFA, European body UEFA, Asia’s AFC, the German Bundesliga, Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue 1 and the Premier League in England.
