The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Al Fardan Automobiles, dealer of BMW vehicles in Qatar, has announces the recall of BMW X7 model of 2019 due to Incorrect installation of high pressure pumps.
The ministry, in cooperation with National Car Company, dealer of Mazda in Qatar, also recalled Mazda 3 models of 2016-2018 due to potential defect in front wiper.
Besides the MoCI, in cooperation with Al Maaref International Trading Co, dealer of REXEL in Qatar, announced the recall of REXEL Promax Shredder REX823 / RSX1035 models of 2016-2019 owing to overheating of the machines which poses a fire safety risk.
The recalls come within the framework of the ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on defects and repairs.
The ministry said it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
The ministry urges all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions.
