THE Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani issued on Tuesday Decree No 37 of 2019 ratifying an agreement on the promotion and protection of mutual investments between the governments of the State of Qatar and Ukraine, signed in Doha on March 20, 2018.
HH the Amir also issued Decree No. 38 of 2019 ratifying an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of financial evasion with respect to income taxes between Qatar and Ukraine and the protocol thereto signed in Doha on March 20, 2018.
Furthermore, HH the Amir issued Decree No. 39 of 2019 ratifying an air services agreement between Qatar and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador, signed in Doha on January 15, 2018.
The texts of all the three are annexed to the respective decrees and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The decrees are to be implemented from the date of issuance and to be published in the official gazette.
Meanwhile, HH the Amir issued an instrument of ratification, approving a draft agreement on cultural cooperation between Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Paraguay, signed in Asuncion on October 3, 2018.
HH the Amir also ratified a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the fields of tourism and business activities between Qatar and Paraguay. Besides, HH the Amir ratified a draft air services agreement between Qatar and Paraguay.
HH the Amir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft air services agreement between Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Angola, signed in Doha on February 3, 2019.
