Amir, Pakistani president discuss bilateral relations, international developments

The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani met with Pakistan’s President Dr Arif Alvi in Islamabad on Sunday. The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and the means to enhance them, particularly in the fields of economy, investment and energy. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments. The Pakistani president also conferred ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’, Pakistan’s highest civil award, on HH the Amir as an expression of the depth of the historical ties between Qatar and Pakistan. (QNA)
