Getit Group is all set to open its first retail outlet and fulfillment centre in Qatar, the GETIT MART, on June 24.
The grand opening is scheduled to at GWC Busulba Warehousing Park, Birkat Al Awamer, Wukair, from 6:30pm.
The launch of its e-commerce webstore getit.qa on both iOS & Android Mobile Apps marked the website’s continuous growth as the best online shopping portal in the country.
The www.getit.qa offers all types of groceries and foodstuffs ranging from vegetables, fruits, fresh meat and fish to dairy products, and mobile and electronic goods, fashion apparels, home appliances, stationery, industrial products and services and more.
Managing Director of Getit Group Khalid Mubarak al Kaabi said, “The website, www.getit.qa, is a pioneer in focusing on optimising the shopper experience. In keeping with our responsibility principles, we implemented this secure webstore in such a manner that it is completely compliant with the Ministry of Transport and Communications guidelines.
“In addition, Getit is a locally registered company to promote ‘Made in Qatar’ products and services, and the Group is planning to open 10 additional outlets with fulfilment centres by 2022 to reduce the current delivery lead-time. Our mart will be beneficial to our neighbouring customers in the GWC Busulba Warehousing Park for their daily shopping needs. This venture will also support the future development of the Birkat Al Awamer area.”
