Italian envoy observes national day with Italian troops at Al Udeid Airbase

Italian Ambassador to Qatar HE Pascual Salzano met with the members of Italian military at Al Udeid Airbase on Saturday to celebrate the National Day of Italy, which officially falls on June 2. Commenting on the visit, Ambassador Salzano said, “I am very pleased to have the honour to celebrate the Italian National Day with our military in service at Al Udeid. I am very proud of them as they defend our constitutional values, such as freedom and peace in the world with strength and commitment.” Celebrations of the Italian National Day in Qatar will be hosted by the embassy on June 20.
