Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), the umbrella organisation of the Indian community that functions under the aegis of the Indian embassy, hosted a community iftar in Doha recently, to mark the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The iftar held at Ashoka Hall of ICC was attended by Indian Ambassador P Kumaran; official of the Ministry of Culture and Sports Jabor Khalifa al Kuwari; Investigation Officer, Human Rights Department, Nasser Mubarak Ahmed Al Atheeq Al Dosari; Patrol Officer at Al Fazaa Police Lt. Abdul Wahhab Muhammed al Yami; Head of Community Policing Section al Rayyan Security Department Lt. Khalid Hussain Al Shammari; ICC Coordinating Officer Rajesh Kamble; ICC President AP Manikantan; ICC Advisory Council Chairman KM Varghese; President of Indian Community Benevolent Forum PN Baburajan; President of Indian Business Professionals Council Azim Abbas; and President of Indian Sports Council Nilangshu Dey.
The event was also attended by representatives of different sociocultural organisations affiliated to the ICC.
