Filipino expat Mega Cervantes, volunteers and bloggers will be spearheading an iftar drive to be held at the Ramada Signal on May 26, from 5:45pm. The initiative titled ‘Ramadan Iftar Drive with Mega and Friends’ will be held in association with Qatar Mirror, Future 318, IdealDiet.Me, Coal Restaurant, Inspire Me by Elizabeth Wood, McDonalds Qatar, Family Food Centre, San Bernardo Water from Italy and Pinoy Heart Radio. About 1,000 iftar boxes containing light meals and drinks will be distributed during the activity.
