DPS-Modern Indian School recently held the Scholar Badge & All Rounders’ Award Ceremony to felicitate 280 students of Grades V to VII for their distinctive performance in academics and extra-curricular activities in the 2018-19 academic year.
The students were awarded with trophies, certificates, blue blazers and special awards for their outstanding academic and all round performance. Director of DPS-MISRocky Fernandes was the chief guest on the occasion.
He commended the young achievers for their dedication, perseverance and persistence, and encouraged them to use their success to benefit, inspire and influence other students.
Highlighting the true meaning of academic excellence, he advocated the need to uphold values, cope with the changing world and be well-equipped for the future.
In her address, Principal Asna Nafees extolled the students for consistency in their pursuit of excellence.
She instilled pride in the hearts of the attendees by sharing the results of grade X and XII.
Speaking about the pros and cons of social media, the principal advised the parents to monitor their wards and guide them to make judicious use of technology.
