QC and IDMC establish new research partnership on internal displacement May 15, 2019 0 407 12345 Tribune News NetworkDohaQatar Charity (QC) and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) have formalised a new partnership which aims to improve data collection, analysis and new research into internal displacement around the world. Mohammed al Ghamdi, chief governance officer of Qatar Charity, said: “We are honoured to be, alongside IDMC, active members of the international efforts in preventing internal displacement, in protecting and defending IDPs during their displacement and in finding durable and sustainable solutions to ensure their stability once returned to their communities.”QC and IDMC will collaborate on training and capacity building to collect and analyse more and better data on internal displacement in locations across the globe, from the Middle East to Asia.
