THE Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani received on Monday at his Amiri Diwan office the credentials of six new ambassadors to the State. The ambassadors included HE Ricardo Eduardo Vaz Pereira Pracana from the Republic of Portugal, HE Mohamed Bahrin bin Paduka Haji Abu Bakar from Brunei Darussalam, HE Jose Arsenio Benzaquen Perea from the Republic of Peru, HE Mohammed Mohammed Ferrara Lashtar from Nicaragua, HE Matthew Hawkins from New Zealand and HE Rashid Sesay from the Republic of Sierra Leone.
HH the Deputy Amir welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success in their missions and the relations between the State of Qatar and their countries further progress and prosperity.
The new ambassadors conveyed the greetings of the leaders of their countries to HH the Amir and HH the Deputy Amir and their best wishes for the Qatari people of further progress and prosperity. The Ambassadors were accorded an official reception at the Amiri Diwan. (QNA)
