Byberg carded a gross score of 143 after 36 holes to win the title, Rashid scored 146 and had to be satisfied with his runner-up finish. In the Ladies Best Gross category, Eva Boeglin and Tasnim Kazi were the closest contestants and won the top two spots. Ammico has been sponsoring the event since its inception three years ago. Ammico CEO Jamal Nasir and Managing partner Fazal Kazi were present at the closing ceremony and gave away the prizes.Fahad bin Nasser al Naimi, Qatar Golf Association General Secretary, crowned the winner and said that the Qatar Senior Open sponsored by Ammico is unique event and has a very good reputation among golf tournaments in the region.
