Philippines’ concert king Martin Nievera will be performing in Qatar together with celebrated Filipina singer Lani Misalucha, also known as the “Asia’s Nightingale”, for the Global Police Community Relations (Global PCR) “World Alliance Middle East Tour 2019 on June 27.
The upcoming concert in Doha of two of the Philippines’ top singers and Global PCR ambassadors was announced during the launch of the new office of the Doha City Event Management (DC Event) on Friday.
The Global PCR is conceptualised to forge stronger relations between the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the community through its partner-stakeholders and partner non-government organisations in the Philippines and abroad. It is aimed at addressing specific issues and concerns of Overseas Filipino Workers and their families for global peace. The initiative was launched in different parts of the Middle East including in Qatar last month in the presence of Global PCR delegation from Manila.
During the DC Event new office soft launch, Victor Magnipes of DCEM signed the contract with Global PCR represented by Rachel S. Chan and Engr. Henry Dimaano for the Doha leg of the “World Alliance Middle East Tour 2019”.
Nievera, whose singing career spans more than three decades, has performed in different concert venues across the world. He also held hugely successfully concerts in Qatar in 2007 together with Gary Valenciano and in 2015 with Morissette Amon.
Misalucha is known for her ability to sing across several genres including pop, rock, jazz, soul and rhythm and blues. She held successful concerts across the Philippines and in different parts of the US most notably in Las Vegas.
Aside from the Nievera-Misalucha concert, DC Event also announced that it will organising another concert featuring Filipino rock band Juan Karlos and other guests for the Summerfest 2019 event on
August 9.
The launching of the new DC Event office located at the Mezzanine Floor of Abdulghani Building in Doha also featured a presentation of the services of the Filipino-owned venture which includes events planning such as sports, corporate, fashion and community events, lights and sound, photography and videography productions, among others. The event was attended by Lea Abo, sponsor, and other members of the community. Further announcements of DC Event are on its official website www.dceventsqatar.com.
