Qatari shareholding company Widam Food announced on Tuesday the appointment of Al Noubay Salem al Marri as its new chief executive officer as of April 3, 2019.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Marri has held several senior positions. He served as the Director of the Agricultural Division at Hassad Food, in conjunction with his position as the General Manager of the Arab Qatari Agricultural Production Company.
He also led several other leadership positions that earned him an extensive experience in the food sector. He started his career in the operations department at Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO). Marri holds an MBA and BSc in logistics management and supply chain from the UK.
