HBKU receives German state minister

HBKU receives German state minister Representatives from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently welcomed Michelle M?ntefering, minister of state at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, as she visited the university and met with faculty and administration at HBKU’s College of Science and Engineering (CSE). Professor Yousef Haik, associate provost at HBKU, and Professor Amine Bermak, associate dean acting on behalf of Dr Mounir Hamdi, dean of CSE, introduced M?ntefering to the university’s vision, programmes and distinctive academic approach. Faculty members also led a tour of CSE’s state-of-the-art labs, housed within Education City, during which they discussed future collaborations to leverage innovation. M?ntefering’s visit to HBKU formed part of a three-day itinerary in Doha.
