THE Central Food Laboratories of the Ministry of Public Health got its accreditation renewed after passing the annual inspection of its analytical units by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB).
The Central Food Laboratories’ Radiation Unit got its accreditation for the first time this year. Five new analytical methods of the Central Food Laboratories were also adopted this year, bringing the total number of methods adopted to 34.
The renewal of the certification represents an important addition to the Central Food Laboratories, which are undergoing development and expansion in areas and methods of analysis to obtain international accreditation on an annual basis.
The Central Food Laboratories of the Ministry of Public Health are among the top 15 laboratories out of 115 that participated in evaluation. (QNA)
